Thommy's drums are: 24” kick, 13” rack, 16” floor tom, 18” floor tom, 14”x 6.5” Premier snare "Big Pink", Zildjian A’s, A Custom and K cymbals, REMO coated Ambassador heads on the toms and kick, Promark Thommy Price signature drum sticks. All hardware is DW including a DW5000 kick pedal and Hi Hat stand.
Some of the equipment Thommy uses to record is: Universal Audio Hardware, Pro Tools. Mics: Earthworks-Q40s Room, ElectroVoice-Kick, Slate ML1-Mono Room, Slate ML2-Toms, Kick out, Audio Technica-Hats, Mono Room Cascade Ribbons-Overheads, Townsends-Stereo Rooms (2), Universal Audio Preamp 4-710, API EQs. Emulation via UAD, Neve 1073, API Channel strip, Townsend Mic emulations, 1176, Pultec, SSL.

Once you have approved your track based on the recording I send you, I'll package up 8 consolidated audio tracks at 24bit 48khz WAV files for you to import into your DAW. The tracks will be the exact length of the track you sent to me, so they will line up exactly with your track.

PRO DRUMMER
Thommy Price was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York.
By the tender age of 16, he had already hit the road playing drums in rock bands … and he hasn’t stopped since. Schooled on “early blue-eyed soul” like The Dave Clarke 5 and The Young Rascals, he found his chops playing along with his older brother’s 45’s of drum heavy songs like “Bits and Pieces” and “Glad All Over”.
He has spent his life on the road and in the studio, and along the way has become one of the most well-known and highly sought-after skin bashers in the business. His style is unique in that he has a sound completely his own, and his talent is impossible to overlook, but he stays solid and in the pocket without the flash and distractions of most well-known drummers.
He can provide the fireworks without losing his place as the most rock-solid backbone around.
For this reason, his list of credits is almost endless…

His latest release is “Downtown Phantom” with Johnny Rao and Joey Vasta and is working on a book.
